Thanks to the generous donations of supporters, our team has been able to work directly with the community to inform the design of our school. We have piloted our curriculum several times, including in a four-week summer camp. And, thanks to the feedback from the students, parents, and educators who partnered with us in these efforts, we can make sure key elements of our model work before we open with our own students.

Our first school, Capital Village Academy, will be a public charter school in Washington, DC, serving students in 5th - 8th grades. We will open during the Fall of 2020 and start with fifth and sixth grades.

As we plan for our launch in 2020, we are seeking donors to help us fund the development and continued piloting of our curriculum and model. Donations are tax-deductible and will directly affect a child’s educational future.
